The Suicide Battalion was a group of Japanese youth indoctrinated to follow the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II. Selected and led by Prince Shinto, they were trained to be loyal suicide bombers. Near the end of the war, Shinto deployed his young charges to a strategically important island, where they launched attacks on American airfields, military bases, and ammunition depots.

The American military called in the Young Allies to counter the threat. After much loss and a firefight, Toro and American bombers helped destroy the Japanese base. As the Suicide Battalion tried to escape, a stray bullet struck a crate of explosives, killing the remaining members of the group.

The Battalion’s members were armed with pistols, machine guns, knives, and carried belts of TNT for suicide missions.
