==Background and Origin  ==

Terry’s journey begins in tragedy with the murder of his father, Warren McGinnis. Young and determined, Terry infiltrates the ruins of Wayne Manor under the orders of his employer, Derek Powers, to steal the "Beyond Suit" — a highly advanced Batsuit originally designed by Bruce Wayne but deemed too dangerous for use. After donning the suit to evade capture, Terry inadvertently becomes the new Batman, setting him on a path of vengeance against Powers, who orchestrated his father's death.  

Terry’s identity as Batman is deeply tied to Neo-Gotham, a dystopian megalopolis where the once-vibrant city has been transformed into a surveillance-heavy police state under Powers' control. As Terry assumes the mantle, he faces not only the personal challenges of avenging his father but also the societal burden of protecting a city that has lost its way.
