Through body swaps, memory merges, and personal transformations, both characters have evolved significantly:
- Betsy Braddock has transitioned from a telepathic mutant to an Asian ninja assassin and finally embraced her role as Captain Britain. Her journey reflects personal growth and acceptance of her heritage and responsibilities.
- Kwannon has emerged from being a background character to taking center stage as Psylocke. Her resurrection allowed her to reclaim her identity and explore her past, free from the shadows of Betsy's legacy.
