Erik Komatsu (born October 1, 1987) is an American former professional baseball outfielder. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the St. Louis Cardinals and Minnesota Twins. Komatsu was born and raised in California. His Japanese surname is inherited from his American-born Japanese father and grandfather; his paternal grandmother came to the U.S. from Japan as a military bride.
