A collection of Japanese, Nikkei and Hāfu characters that appear in Western Comics—Marvel and DC mostly.

We've collected as many characters as we have found to date. Updates are happening all the time. There are a few superhero groups which are of most interest such as [[:Category:Big Hero 6|Big Hero 6]] within the Marvel Universe, and [[:Category:Big Science Action|Big Science Action]] in the DC Universe.

Of course there are plenty of Japanese characters in the huge amount of manga and anime, but that is beyond the scope of our work here. We are cataloguing characters in the West with a connect in to Japan. Hopefully someday someone will write their Ph.D. on the representation of all of these characters. For now, we're just trying to collect a giant list and see what happens.
