Harry Binkley Harris Jr. (born August 4, 1956) is an American diplomat and former U.S. Navy officer who is the current United States Ambassador to South Korea. He was the first Japanese American to lead US Pacific Command in the U.S. Navy and was the highest-ranking American of Japanese descent in the U.S. military during his time as commander.
