Genji Odashu was a pilot recruited against her will by the Followers of the Light to pilot the Shogun Warrior robot Combatra. She did this for several months, battling various menaces to Earth until Combatra was destroyed, after which she returned to her former occupation. During her time as a pilot of Combatra she risked her life to protect a group of civilians from an explosive by placing her robot over the explosive train car, knocking her out temporarily. However she survived and was ultimately able to defeat her enemies.
She was briefly a member of the Avengers' support staff.
