Whip

Whip was a spy for the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II, named for his preferred weapon. In 1943, Whip infiltrated the United States, stole plans for Dr. Carstairs’ demolition bomb testing chamber, and murdered Carstairs in the process. Working with the Young Allies, Whip fled to Tokyo by plane after threatening to crash the plane and managed to capture the Young Allies once in Tokyo. He presented the stolen plans to Hirohito, but found them missing and attempted to torture the heroes for the secret’s whereabouts. Toro used his flame powers to help the team escape, and when the Allies stole a plane and flew away, Whip committed suicide for failing his mission. Whip appeared only once in Golden Age Marvel comics.
