Death Riders

The Death Riders were a gang of Imperial Japanese saboteurs active during World War II. Wearing hooded costumes and riding motorcycles to conceal their nationality, they attacked the Crawford Munitions Factory in 1944—an event coinciding with the wedding of US military officer Lieutenant Hale and Mary Crawford, daughter of the factory owner. Their destructive plans were interrupted by Private Steve Rogers and James Barnes, who transformed into Captain America and Bucky. Cap and Bucky exposed and pursued the gang, ultimately saving the kidnapped Crawfords and defending the plant by impersonating Death Riders themselves, infiltrating the gang’s hideout, and rounding up its remaining members.

The Death Riders relied on torches and their leader wielded a whip for torture. Each member rode a motorcycle. After their defeat, the group was disbanded; their individual fates remain unknown.
