One of Japan's super-heroes, Arashi develops her own technology to defend her native country; though quite famous there, she is almost unheard of in the West. She uses high-tech weapons including a heavily-armed motorcycle, right-arm flamethrower, and senses-augmenting cyber-helmet.


She once battled Doctor Polaris alongside The Ray and Green Lantern. The threesome defeated Doctor Polaris and saved Japan from a giant tsunami. Polaris broke Arashi's arm and nearly killed her, but she has since recovered and resumed her adventurous activities.
