Like his teammates, Inazuma was hired by Rei Takahashi to hunt down and kill Anthony Stark, the man responsible for a nuclear-industry related disaster that financially ruined Akane Fusion Developments and caused 59 deaths.
When James Rhodes presented evidence linking Stane International and Justin Hammer to the disaster, Inazuma and the other Masters withdrew from the fight. Ashamed of their actions, they offered their services to Stark in an attempt to regain their honor. Iron Man, Rhodes, and the Masters then prepared to assault Justin Hammer's villa.
Inazuma and his teammates attacked the villa and defeated Mandrois, Hydra operatives, and members of the Hand, as well as Justin Hammer, who eventually surrendered. The Masters of Silence then vanished.
