Black + Asian or Half Black, Half Japanese Afro-Asians or African-Asians (also known as Black Asians or Blasians), are persons of mixed African and Asian ancestry. Historically, Afro-Asian populations have been marginalized as a result of human migration and social conflict. The term Black Asian may also be used to describe Negritos (blacks indigenous to Asia); therefore Afro-Asian is a more scientifically proper term to describe Black Asians with direct African background or ancestry. ==Famous Blasian: Naomi Osaka== [[Naomi Osaka]] (大坂 なおみ Ōsaka Naomi, born October 16, 1997) is a professional womans tennis player representing Japan. She has won major women's singles titles at the US Open and the Australian Open. Born in Japan to a Haitian father and a Japanese mother, Osaka has lived in the United States since she was three years old. [[Category:Glossary]]
