| Asian characters, particularly those who are otherwise unassuming "Funny Foreigners", are likely to know some sort of martial arts and be able to do it adequately, if not extraordinarily, in Western-produced works. For instance, the conventional Japanese character will often use another character to show off his jujitsu talents at some point in many Western works from the first half of the 20th century.
