==QUINCY, M.E./NBC/1976-83== ([[Robert Ito]]/costar) Sam Fujiyama, Japanese-American medical assistant to Dr. R. Quincy, medical examiner for the Los Angeles Coroners Office. The series was inspired by the exploits of Dr. Thomas Noguchi, former L.A. Coroner who investigated the deaths of Marilyn Monroe and John Belushi among others. He was often called "Coroner to the Stars."
