Masato David Hayakawa (Japanese: 早川 雅人 (Hayakawa Masato), born December 17, 1986), known professionally as Masato, is a Japanese-American singer, musician, lyricist and model. He is best known as the lead vocalist of the Japanese rock band Coldrain since their formation in 2007. He was a former member of AVER, alongside one of his fellow Coldrain members, drummer Katsuma Minatani.
Hayakawa is also known as being the director and designer of a clothing line, as well as being a model for Over(all) Tokyo.
