Mock Mikado (Earth-616)

The Mock Mikado was a Japanese warlord whose origins are cloaked in a mix of legend and propaganda. Born in Japan at the close of the 19th century, he was allegedly one of two sons of a self-proclaimed emperor. To prevent a dynastic conflict, one son—the Mock Mikado—was sent to North America by his father’s order and raised in Mexico, preparing for conquest. Under the guidance of Baron Jujitso, the Mock Mikado assembled an army and invaded California in 1942, only to be opposed by Captain America and Bucky. Using force and strategy, the Mock Mikado briefly captured California’s leadership and launched daring attacks, but ultimately, Captain America and Bucky rallied the military, defeated his forces, and ensured his arrest. The character exhibits samurai sword skill and commands troops from horseback. His fate after capture remains unknown, and modern Marvel continuity treats his exploits as historical fiction exaggerated for wartime comics.
