The character Taro Takahashi appeared first on Welcome Back, Kotter in an episode called [[Career Day (Welcome Back, Kotter) | Career Day]] in the first episode of Season 2. Mr. T, a speaker at the school's Career Day who offered Gabe Kotter a job with a better salary. The Mr. T and Tina premiere was two days later, on September 25, 1976
It aired on October 30, 1976.
