We need to dive into the [[Nike HTM]] sub-brand. It was a collaboration between [[Hiroshi Fujiwara]] the Godfather of Streetwear, Tinker Hatfield the legendary Nike shoe designer, and Mark Parker Nike SEO, at Nike beginning in 2002. ===Nike HTM Air Woven (2002)=== HTM is the ongoing design partnership between Mark Parker, Tinker Hatfield, and the godfather of Japanese streetwear, Hiroshi Fujiwara. “You could compare our process to a jazz jam session,” Parker says, “like musicians riffing and building on one another’s ideas.” The trio’s first project, in the early aughts, was a take on the Air Woven, a sneaker that had struggled to gain traction at Nike HQ. “HTM came to the rescue,” Hatfield says, by unlocking the aesthetic potential of the shoe’s avant-garde construction—and turning the silhouette into an instant classic in the process. Nike introduced its revolutionary Flyknit technology through HTM. ===Classic HTM Designs=== * Nike Air Force 1 HTM * Nike HTM Air Moc Mid (2002) * Nike Sock Dart HTM (2004) * HTM Zoom Macropus * HTM Air Footscape Woven * Nike Flyknit Racer HTM * Nike Kobe Elite Low IX HTM * Nike Free Mercurial Superfly ===Links=== * [https://www.grailed.com/drycleanonly/history-nike-htm History of Nike HTM in Grailed] * [https://www.highsnobiety.com/p/nike-htm-history/ History in High Snobiety] * [https://www.complex.com/sneakers/2016/03/hiroshi-tinker-mark-htm-launched-nike-into-the-future In Complex] [[Category: Art & Architecture]]
