Xavier's Institute Ichiki lived in Tokyo, Japan with her brother and parents before joining the Xavier Institute. When the training squad system began, Armor was placed with Kitty Pryde's Paladins Squad with Blindfold and Wing. Armor formed a close friendship with Wing, and [even described him as being her best friend.
